The womb.

This blend came through with some very strong medicine for sister wounds, woman wounds, and ancestral medicine moving through, and also a lot of energy around healing the witch wound and spiritual trauma.

I think sometimes we can forget, and may not know the bigger story at play in the witch trials, but it's not that Witches were burned, it was women. —witch was the scarlet letter to excuse it.

And yes, women were burned for paganism, witchcraft, doing anything outside of the church, too, but it's beyond that. There is so much history and herstory in our wombs. And our wombs are so divinely powerful. The wounds of patriarchal culture go really deep in our relationship with other women and men. But the wounds in relation to women in particular were at the forefront in this blend.

The message came through of how important it is to understand that the sister wound is systemic, and that all of this has severed women from their magic and feminine power.

The flowers…

Dark purple verbena —

These flowers felt like the womb — a sweet, dark, sacred temple to rest and mulch in, in quiet solitude. I felt the essence of cocooning in the darkness of the womb, being nourished on so many levels, with so much peace and calm. Almost like burrying ourselves in the earth, or a bear hibernating in a cave for the winter.

Deep restoration was at the forefront.

Light purple scabiosa —

Grandmother vibes.

Gentle crone vibes. And gentle elder wisdom.

The message that everything dies. Nothing is permanent. The wheel is constantly turning.

Nothing lasts forever.

Your time is limited.

Don't become disillusioned with your mortality and impermence and follow the thread of your intuition, heart, and womb without hesitation — while also not having an over attachment to achieving, outcome, or accomplishment.

Trust the divine workings.

Follow your energy, the pulse, the seasons, and cycles that are moving through you. There's nothing more to be done.

African Daisy —

Your crown opening to divinity. A tether to the stars. Like your psychic space is connecting to diamonds of ancient existence in the sky.

Dark Red Marigold —

“Go underwater. Dive deep.”

This mantra came with this luscious sensation of taking a deep breath, and diving deep under water, deep, deep, deep into the dark, dark, dark. Such an overwhelming sense of peace. Going down, down, down.

It reminded me of Water Witch by The Secret Sisters and Brandi Carlile. Such a good song.

Marigold is also big ancestral medicine.

The Star of Bethlehem —

The salve for spiritual trauma. The witch wound. Nursing our relationship with our spirituality and the divine back to wholeness.

There is so much spiritual and sisterhood trauma in all the collective threads of woman and the womb.

Our wombs are a cauldron of feminine mysteries.

They are also loaded with the human experience…

So many women are on birth control and don't cycle, or have hormonal struggles and painful periods.

Fertility, birth, and postpartum can be a loaded journey that either comes to fruition how we hope or far from it.

There’s the mother wound.

Hormone replacement, cesareans, hysterectomies, and induced labor.

None of it’s good or bad.

No shame.

It just is.

And it’s a mirror of something much larger than any of us individually.

Bluebell —

Divine communication. Divine workings.
Trust the unspoken and the magnitude of energy moving.
You are divine.

Your female form is the Goddess embodied.

She lives on earth through you.

Nothing is black and white. There are a lot of mysteries, a lot of emotion, and a lot of unknown.

This blend has a very sweet essence of simply holding space to be with it all.

The Womb Essence pairs beautifully with the Heart Essence and Boundaries blends. It’s also one of the three blends in the Feminine Mysteries Set.

Women were once known as two-hearted beings. Heart and womb as our feminine power. This essence, along with the heart essence, is a powerful combination to foster a deep sense of security in your feminine wisdom. The Boundaries blend is also a powerful combination, expanding your capacity to not only receive, hold, and channel more energy — but also directly in the vein of receiving and steeping in the feminine mysteries.
