How to Embody Divine Feminine Energy.
Our divine feminine energy is many things, and embodying it is far from simple.
Everything about embodying our divine feminine energy is socially charged and pushed back against in the functional structures of society.
We are taught head over heart, intellect over intuition, logic over instincts, and discipline over trust.
We are drugged through menstruation, birth, and menopause, dismissing the power of our natural cycles. We are led to believe that beauty, our sexuality, and productivity equate to our worth and that aging is a loss.
Women are either told they are too emotional, watery, ethereal, needy or clingy, or that they are a bitch, work too hard, that they are a prude, or a whore, or that their standards are too high.
But it’s all divine.
We are expected to be the healers, caretakers, and martyrs—all forgiving and giving, while asking for little.
But don’t be meek either.
Our bodies, pleasure, and sensuality are so sexualized that we become severed from the innocence of it all.
Most women don’t even know the erotic because they don’t know how to take the sexual charge out of it, and simply enjoy the pleasure of being alive in a body, in a beautiful world.
We have to constantly shapeshift and compartmentalize how we embody divine feminine energy, and ourselves as women.
There is always an idolized version, and we will always be judged for one thing or another, but it changes with set and setting. And the truth is, you can never win.
We are told that we can do it all, be it all, and have it all, but it's all too much, because the way we are shown is in this illusory, perfected, unrealistic, self-abandoning way.
We are vast, complicated, and messy—and we were never meant not to be.
Embodying our divine feminine energy is vast, complicated, and messy—and it was never meant not to be.
You can be it all, just not in the way we’ve been shown. And this is what feminine archetypes awaken in us—they teach us how to embody our divine feminine energy. Authentically.
Being a woman is a shapeshifting, elusive, fluid experience that can't be defined by the many stereotypes shoved down our throats—but it’s hard not to try, and it’s hard to hold our ground in a world that makes it feel like swimming upstream.
There is no right way to be a woman, or to embody your divine feminine energy.
It’s yours.
And it will show you the way.
The Goddess will show you the.
This is why the feminine archetypes are so powerful. They provide divine templates to step into these different facets of ourselves as beings, as women, and in our feminine energy—revealing our irreplicable authenticity.
Archetypal work is part work. And as we dance with these different sacred parts of ourselves that the archetypes invoke, we eventually reclaim what we deemed broken, faulty, or too much, and we reclaim parts that were so buried we didn’t even know they existed.
The archetypes are sacred channels to set the woman within free in all her contradictory, vast, messy, and raw ways of her humanness and divinity.
Feminine archetypes are sacred channels to embody your divine feminine energy—in its vast, irreplicable, and shapeshifting nature.
I think if the Goddess, in her many shapes and forms, could tell us one thing—it’d be to throw perfection and composure out the window, claim every part of ourselves, and to wake up to the power, validity, and intelligence in all of it.
We have been groomed to feel like we are too much, and not enough all at once—because women, and embodied divine feminine energy, are a force.
I have something for you—a free 60-minute somatic archetypal journey meeting the Maiden, Sovereign Woman, Virgin, Mother, Queen, Crone, Mystic, and Lover. The first half introduces you to the power of archetypal work and the essence of all eight. The second half drops you into your body to feel them.
This is only a 60-minute video, but this is where you light the flame and where the journey of embodying your divine feminine energy begins.
This is the invocation.
This is the moment it all starts.
Once this flame sparks in your experience here, there is no going back, and they will continue to come online stronger and stronger, showing you the way if you continue to keep yourself open to them.
With love,
Abby
